The Santa Fe is a spacious, comfortable and powerful SUV that’s been designed for the way you and your family live.
Australia’s Best SUV $45,000 to $65,000 - Santa Fe Highlander.
Power and Efficiency
Powered for the extreme, efficient for the outdoors.
Looks stunning in the city, but built tough for family adventures.
Built in Safety
Built to achieve 5* ANCAP safety rating.
Fog lamps are seamlessly integrated into the front and rear garnish, enhancing visibility of the road ahead during inclement weather, while also making it easier for oncoming and following traffic to see you.
PANORAMIC GLASS SUNROOF (HIGHLANDER ONLY)
The twin-panel roof lets you fill the cabin with air and light. At the touch of a button, the front panel opens and a wind deflector activates for passenger comfort. When the car is turned off, the panel closes automatically.
The rear spoiler continues the dynamic roofline to add extra style and increase aerodynamic performance.
INDULGENT AND SPACIOUS INTERIOR
The Santa Fe has been designed and built to meet the needs of modern day families. Whether you’re simply taking the kids to school, doing the shopping, taking part in weekend sports activities or heading off on a family adventure – the Santa Fe offers the space, comfort and functionality to make every journey fun and stress-free. The cabin offers extremely generous shoulder and legroom for five adults over the first and second row seats, while a third row increases occupant capacity to seven.
There’s a multitude of places to store all the things you need, whatever your purpose or destination, including a sizeable cargo area with under-floor storage. Flexibility and versatility are maximised with rear seats that can be split 40:20:40. This makes it easy to carry long items such as golf clubs, surfboards and skis, or when you need more room, the rear seats can be folded down to create an almost cavernous space that maximises your carry capacity.
STEERING WHEEL MOUNTED CONTROLS
Remote control switches on the premium steering wheel enable fingertip operation for cruise control and provide convenient and safe access to audio and Bluetooth®# functions.
PROXIMITY SMART KEY WITH PUSH BUTTON START (ELITE & HIGHLANDER)
When you approach the Santa Fe, sensors detect the presence of the proximity smart key, enabling you to open the vehicle by just pressing the entry button on the door. Once you’re in the driver’s seat, starting the Santa Fe engine is as simple as leaving the smart key in your pocket or bag and pushing the start button, while also depressing the clutch or brake.
The Theta II GDi 2.4 litre four-cylinder engine (Active variants only) utilises a system whereby fuel is directly injected into the combustion chamber at the optimum moment by a high-pressure pump. Using a higher compression ratio, this system increases performance and fuel efficiency while reducing fuel consumption.
Developed in house by Hyundai, both the slick 6-speed manual (Active variants only) and the 6-speed automatic (optional on Active, standard on Elite and Highlander) achieve greater fuel economy and provide increased driving pleasure.
The 6-speed automatic transmission delivers smooth and seamless shifts, while the inclusion of an electronic manual mode enables a more involved driving experience
The Santa Fe’s suspension and steering has undergone extensive local tuning to achieve a delicate balance between compliance and control, regardless of road conditions.
The Santa Fe has been built with a comprehensive system of 7 airbags that will protect you in the event of a collision. This includes: driver and front passenger airbags; nearside and offside curtain airbags; left and right side airbags; and a driver’s knee airbag.
HILL-START ASSIST CONTROL (HAC) AND DOWNHILL BRAKE CONTROL (DBC)
Hill-start Assist Control minimises backward roll on steep hills, allowing you a comfortable transition from the brake to the accelerator. On steep descents, the Downhill Brake Control helps control the brakes so you can keep your feet off the pedals and concentrate on steering.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING (LDW) SYSTEM (HIGHLANDER ONLY)
Activated above 60km/hr, LDW uses a camera to scan the road ahead and will alert the driver if it senses the vehicle is unintentionally veering from its current lane.
