Perfectly suited for the busy schedule of an active family, it is available in 7 or 6 seats (6 seats available on Highlander variant only), providing even more interior space for all your favourite activities.

An interior that invites peace and complete comfort

For easier 3rd row entry and exit, a one-touch button quickly collapses and slides the 2nd row seats forward, so kids can get in and out from the 3rd row much more easily and with little assistance.

No matter what the weather, everyone front to back gets to travel in comfort with cooling and heating that extends all the way to the back of the cabin, thanks to dedicated air vents in both the 2nd and 3rd rows, and a manual air-con control in the 3rd row too.

And in the Santa Fe Hybrid you get total peace of mind because the cabin is equipped with a variety of child safety seat attachment points. You’ll find all 2nd row seats have top-tether points (LH, centre, RH), with two ISOFIX points on the outboard seats.

From fishing rods to school science experiments, whatever you need to carry with you, the family-friendly Santa Fe Hybrid can handle it all with 571 litres of capacity with the 3rd row seats folded flat or up to 782 litres of total cargo capacity with both the 2nd and 3rd row seats folded flat.

For those sitting in the back seats, these retractable sunshades will filter out much of the radiant glare and heat on the hottest of days, and can be quickly rolled down and out of the way again when that extra layer of protection is no longer needed.

Rear window sunshades

Like a second set of eyes, this system uses radar sensors in the rear bumper to look out for vehicles in the driver’s blind spot. When BCA-R detects a vehicle in those blind spots (including when a driver is exiting out of a parallel kerbside space), it provides visual and audible alerts, and if it detects a potential collision, it initiates active avoidance steering manoeuvres to steer the Santa Fe Hybrid out of harm’s way.

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist – Rear (BCA-R)

Signalling left or right with the Santa Fe Hybrid’s indicators will activate BVM. This safety system can see cars travelling in rear blind spots and projects real-time video onto the 12.3” supervision cluster, giving the driver an even better driving picture to respond to.

Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM)

DAW analyses your driving behaviours over time. If it notices signs of fatigue or recognises you’ve been driving continuously for an extended period, pop-up messages and audible warnings will suggest you take a break.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW)

The FCA-JT system is designed to reduce the risk of collision by detecting and monitoring oncoming vehicles. When the driver activates the Santa Fe Hybrid’s indicators to turn right at a junction, the system recognises any oncoming vehicles ahead using its front view camera and front radar. If there’s a risk of a collision, it produces warning messages or haptic warning alarms accordingly and applies emergency braking if needed.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist – Junction Turning (FCA-JT)

LFA uses the front windshield-mounted camera to detect lane markers and preceding traffic on the road, and provides steering assistance to ensure the vehicle stays in the centre of the lane.

Lane Following Assist (LFA)

When you’re slowly reversing the Santa Fe Hybrid, such as in a garage or parking spot, and the PCA-R system anticipates a collision with an obstacle, the system warns you with visual and audible alarms while engaging the vehicle’s emergency brakes to prevent the collision.

Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist-Rear (PCA-R)

This system monitors the Santa Fe Hybrid's rear doors opening and closing so nothing is accidentally left behind inside the Santa Fe Hybrid. When the driver stops the engine and opens their door to exit, ROA will display a “Check rear seats" warning message in the supervision cluster.

Rear Occupant Alert (ROA)

This system includes all the elements of standard Rear Occupant Alert (ROA), plus it will sound an audible warning alarm if it detects any movement in the rear seats after the ignition of the Santa Fe Hybrid has been turned off and the doors have been locked by the driver.

Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) – Advanced

Imagine coming back to your car after a long day of shopping and finding two cars parked so close either side of you that you can’t open your doors to get in. With Santa Fe Hybrid, that’s not a problem. Simply activate Remote Smart Parking Assist with your smart key and watch your Santa Fe Hybrid drive itself straight out of that tight spot, so you and your passengers can comfortably hop in. Better still, your Santa Fe Hybrid can drive straight into tight parking spots exactly the same way.

Remote Smart Parking Assist System (RSPAS)

The Santa Fe Hybrid’s senses are always looking out for you. Even when it’s parked, if it detects a car approaching from behind, it will prevent the driver from disengaging the electronic child safety lock to prevent passengers in the 2nd row seat from exiting the vehicle. And if it detects a vehicle approaching and a road-facing rear passenger opens their door, it will sound a warning chime reminding them to be careful and a warning sign will also pop up in the cluster.

Safe Exit Assist (SEA)

This multi-camera system generates a 360-degree bird’s eye view around your Santa Fe Hybrid, displaying it on your multimedia screen to assist you in successfully manoeuvring tight parking situations.

Surround View Monitor (SVM)

Play music, access your favourite apps and get real-time information on your Hybrid, including fuel economy, electric motor usage and energy flow charts.
